Public BBQ Rules & Facilities
Derwent Valley Council has BBQ facilities at Gleesons Park (Lachlan) - a large sheltered BBQ area with electric BBQ, BMX track, playground, and dog exercise area. Other parks include Granton Reserve, The Esplanade, Warner Avenue Reserve, and Tynwald Park.
BYO BBQs are subject to Tasmania Fire Service restrictions.
During Total Fire Ban: Only electric and gas BBQs permitted.

Gleesons Park event space can be booked. Contact Council for availability.
Note: No camping is permitted at Tynwald Park.
